How do I purchase a Collegiate License or add a Collegiate license to an existing domestic race or UCI license?

If your currently expired or brand new to USA Cycling you can renew or become a member here. 

If however you already hold a valid Junior, Race or International license you will follow a separate process to add on your collegiate license. 

1. Login to your USA Cycling account that you wish to add on a collegiate license to;
2. Proceed to the Licenses tab, and select "Upgrade my Membership;"
3. On the next page you will see the Collegiate license add on. 

In either case if you're brand new or renewing or adding on a collegiate license to an already valid membership for the year you will need to select your collegiate program before proceeding. 

What if you don't see your school listed? 

If you're in the process of renewing your collegiate license or trying to add on a collegiate license to your domestic or international license but don't see your school listed please select the 'I don't see my School/My School is not active' option to proceed with your license purchase. USA Cycling staff will be monitoring those that select this club and will reach out to you and assist you with locating your correct school. 

Alternatively to add a school to your license, the school must be a registered club with USA Cycling. To create a club or renew an expired club, fill out the club application and club eligibility form at the links below. Information on how to create a club can be found below as well.

Next Steps

Once you're Collegiate license has been purchased. Check your categories, you may need to request an upgrade(s) to match the categories on your Domestic or International License. The process is the same as if you were going to submit an upgrade request for your Domestic or International License. Especially the timing, please allow a 5 business days for your upgrade to be reviewed by your conference director. Think ahead and try not to submit an upgrade request the Friday before your race!
